About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to focus exclusively on the Insurance sector in London. Our talent team is supporting this search for a sales leader who can drive transformational data and AI initiatives within heavily regulated financial services environments.
You will partner with one major insurance enterprise, developing tailored solutions that demonstrate clear business value in big data analytics and artificial intelligence applications. This role reports to a Sales Director and requires deep industry expertise combined with technical fluency in cloud-based data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry-specific insights to design differentiated use cases and solutions for Insurance sector clients
- Co-develop business plans with internal teams and ecosystem partners to accelerate customer success and identify new opportunities
- Exceed quarterly and annual usage and booking targets through strategic account management
- Lead cross-functional teams of data and AI professionals to implement comprehensive business plans
- Guide customers and partners in identifying high-impact big data and AI use cases and proving their value
- Support broader transformation goals through strategic partnerships, scoped professional services, training, and executive engagement
- Build exceptional value propositions that enable successful negotiations and deal closure
What We're Looking For
- Direct enterprise software platform sales experience targeting large Insurance or financial services organizations
- Established executive-level relationships within Insurance clients
- Proven track record developing new business in complex regulated environments
- Extensive experience navigating large, heavily regulated organizations
- Strong knowledge of the Data and AI technology landscape
- Demonstrated career longevity with previous employers
- Consistent quota over-achievement selling complex software and services to enterprise accounts
- Experience driving adoption of usage-based subscription models and co-selling with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud teams
- Expertise developing business cases and securing C-level executive support
- Proficiency with sales methodologies including Territory and Account planning, MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, and Command of the Message
