Teamleiter IT Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Team Leader for IT Infrastructure. In this role, you will provide both disciplinary and technical leadership for the IT Infrastructure team while driving strategic development of the technical architecture in an enterprise environment.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the IT Infrastructure team through both technical guidance and personnel development
• Developing and advancing the strategic technical architecture within a complex enterprise environment
• Analyzing and evaluating change requests within the global application architecture
• Participating in day-to-day operational activities alongside your team
• Planning medium- and long-term staffing requirements, including capacity planning, skills development, and team career progression
• Monitoring quality standards in application operations and continuously improving operational processes
• Ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operation of IT infrastructure
• Leading and managing national and international projects

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a qualified professional with:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Leadership experience in an IT environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of IT processes; ITIL certification is advantageous
• Goal-oriented and structured working style with excellent analytical capabilities
• Personal accountability, team spirit, flexibility, and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken

This is a permanent position based in Karlsruhe.
