Mobile Engineer, Treasury

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Mobile Engineer to deliver exceptional mobile experiences for their treasury management platform. In this role, you will:

• Design and launch world-class mobile features in collaboration with product and design partners
• Scope and lead technical projects that enable the product to evolve and scale effectively
• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile components, APIs, and supporting services
• Make technical decisions that align with broader strategic goals while advocating for the needs of emerging products
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to determine when to leverage existing infrastructure versus building custom solutions
• Balance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability when making tradeoffs

What we're looking for

Our client needs someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building impactful mobile products:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Proven experience building mobile applications, with knowledge extending beyond client-side development
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and API design principles
• Track record of measuring success through business impact rather than output metrics
• Ability to synthesize ideas across teams and set a compelling technical vision
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build trust at all levels
• Commitment to mentoring and developing other engineers
• Preference for simple, scalable solutions over unnecessary complexity
• Comfort working in collaborative, diverse team environments alongside Sales, Support, Legal, and other functions

Preferred experience:

• React Native development
• Focus on user experience and feature usability
• Background in financial services or fintech products
