About This Opportunity

Our recruiting team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential CAD/CAM software organization based in Weßling, Germany. Our client develops high-performance manufacturing solutions used across industries including medical devices, consumer electronics, and precision engineering. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead cycle development initiatives for 2.5D, 3-axis, and 5-axis machining capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer needs analysis and market validation to identify, prioritize, and validate customer requirements, market potential, and technological opportunities in 2.5D, 3-axis, and 5-axis machining
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from problem definition and discovery through concept development to successful market launch of new features and solutions
• Evaluate requirements based on customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic relevance while actively contributing to product strategy development
• Validate new concepts and solutions through customer feedback, practical testing, and structured risk analysis
• Collaborate with development, QA, application engineering, support, marketing, and sales teams to ensure consistent and successful product development
• Ensure seamless integration of new features regarding user experience, product strategy, and overall system architecture while maintaining accountability for defined product goals and sustainable customer value improvement

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in machining processes with comprehensive understanding of CAM processes, CNC machines, controllers, tooling, and manufacturing workflows
• Several years of professional experience in CAM, machining, or product management environments with proven track record in developing, validating, and launching technical product solutions
• Analytical and structured working approach with ability to assess requirements, risks, and priorities while clearly communicating complex technical concepts
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for interacting with customers, interdisciplinary teams, and stakeholders
• Customer-focused mindset with strategic thinking capabilities and sound decision-making ability in uncertain conditions
• Experience with product discovery methods, prioritization techniques, use-case modeling, Microsoft 365, and at least one CAM system
• Familiarity with agile product development methodologies, pilot projects, and beta testing programs is advantageous
• Excellent German and English language skills for communicating technical content to diverse audiences
