EMEA Energy Industry Go-To-Market (GTM) Leader

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise data platform organization in their search for an exceptional EMEA Energy Industry Go-To-Market Leader. This senior executive role offers the opportunity to shape how a leading technology company engages the energy sector across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

You will operate at the intersection of industry expertise, customer engagement, and commercial strategy, helping drive adoption of data and AI solutions in a market where these technologies are redefining how energy systems are built and optimized. This position reports to global industry leadership and requires deep collaboration with EMEA sales, field engineering, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI vision-setting engagements with top energy accounts, advising CEOs and executive teams on strategic adoption and business impact
• Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders across the EMEA region
• Drive strategic and operational execution of GTM initiatives across oil and gas, power and utilities, renewables, and mining sectors
• Accelerate pipeline growth and customer adoption through industry-specific programs that convert market opportunity into revenue
• Build strong alignment with sales, field engineering, marketing, partnerships, and product teams across the region
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators for GTM initiatives, continuously refining plans based on data and field insights
• Develop and deliver thought leadership through industry publications, conferences, and executive briefings
• Provide ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to identify high-value growth opportunities
• Travel regularly to support customer meetings, executive engagements, and industry events

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification strongly preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in the energy sector, including at least 5 years in GTM, strategy, or business development roles
• Background in strategic consulting (ex-MBB preferred) and product-led technology companies
• Proven success taking technology products or platforms to market with clear industry focus and measurable commercial outcomes
• Expert-level domain knowledge in one or more areas: subsurface intelligence, industrial AI, energy and commodity trading, grid resilience
• Familiarity with key energy industry standards bodies and frameworks across EMEA
• Strong understanding of modern data and AI technology landscape and its applications across the energy sector
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority in matrixed, fast-moving organizations
• Track record of building trusted relationships with senior executives in multilingual, multicultural markets
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business narratives for executive audiences
