Hpc is seeking a dedicated Float RN to join our nursing team in Owensboro, KY. As a full-time Float Registered Nurse, you'll deliver flexible, high-quality patient care across multiple departments and units, adapting your expertise to meet evolving clinical needs while maintaining our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

As a Float RN at Hpc, you'll work in a dynamic, full-time position that allows you to develop broad clinical expertise across varied patient populations and settings. This Float Registered Nurse role is designed for experienced nurses who thrive with flexibility and seek the professional growth that comes from working in different clinical environments. You'll be assigned to departments based on facility needs while building stronger relationships with our diverse care teams and patients throughout your tenure.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation across multiple clinical units
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and clinical changes; communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, safe patient care
• Support patient comfort, hygiene, and dignity throughout shifts
• Adapt quickly to different departmental workflows, equipment, and patient populations

Who We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure (valid in Kentucky)
• Clinical nursing experience in direct patient care
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Flexibility with scheduling assignments across departments and shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
• Adaptability and willingness to learn diverse clinical environments
