Sales Support Associate I – Medicare Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential insurance services organization seeking a Sales Support Associate I to join their Medicare Solutions team. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to work with independent insurance agents across all 50 states.

In this role, you'll handle critical administrative functions that keep agent relationships running smoothly—from enrollment processing and compliance support to CRM training and commission inquiries. You'll serve as a trusted resource for agents navigating Medicare products, carrier processes, and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing agent relationships as their primary point of contact for operational needs
• Act as liaison for escalations related to new business, commissions, contracting, and technology platforms
• Provide marketing and CRM system training, administration, and implementation to agents
• Assist agents with website navigation, supply ordering, commission statements, and application status inquiries
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in alignment with compliance procedures and standards
• Resolve escalated agent concerns or issues with professionalism and urgency
• Conduct proactive outreach to existing agents regarding carrier updates, certification calls, webinar promotions, and co-op reimbursement processes
• Manage proactive communications including newsletters, video content, and carrier bulletins
• Serve as expert resource on carrier processes, procedures, and Medicare product types
• Identify and pursue recruiting opportunities as they arise

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
• One (1) or more years of administrative experience in a sales or recruiting environment, health/life insurance agency, or financial services office
• Experience with Senior Health Insurance/Medicare plans including quoting, plan selection, and client enrollment
• Active Health & Life Insurance License (required)
• Knowledge of industry procedures, standards, systems, resources, practices, and terminology
• Understanding of federal, state, and local laws as well as industry regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and presentation capabilities
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to remain flexible and responsive when managing multiple urgent requests
• Professional composure when handling difficult and stressful situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
