Sr. ML Engineer

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential client in the advertising technology sector. They are seeking a Senior ML Engineer to build and scale production machine learning systems that power audience targeting and activation at terabyte scale. This is a remote, full-time position based in India.

You'll work at the intersection of data science and platform engineering, converting prototypes into production-grade services that deliver audience segments across multiple activation channels. This role requires overlap with US-based teams during the second half of your workday.

Responsibilities

• Convert data science prototypes (propensity models, lookalike modeling, segmentation, data fusion) into reproducible, production-quality ML services
• Build and operate large-scale data and feature pipelines on Databricks and Spark, reading from and writing to Snowflake, producing versioned audience segments on schedule
• Own the full model lifecycle: MLflow tracking and registry, CI/CD pipelines, automated retraining, drift monitoring, and rollback procedures
• Engineer the activation layer for governed delivery of segments and scores to demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms, data management platforms, clean rooms, and programmatic partners, including identity resolution and onboarding
• Ensure scalability, latency optimization, cost-efficiency, and reproducibility across Azure infrastructure; support both batch and near-real-time scoring
• Enforce privacy-by-design principles: data minimization, access controls, encryption, and clean-room-compatible patterns
• Set engineering standards, lead end-to-end system design, and mentor other engineers on the team

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• 8–9 years of hands-on ML engineering experience, shipping and operating production systems at scale
• Prior experience in media, advertising, or audience activation domains
• Production expertise with Databricks (including MLflow and Spark), Snowflake, and Azure (ADLS, Azure ML, Azure DevOps, AKS)
• Expert-level Python and ML ecosystem knowledge; strong SQL skills at scale
• Strong applied statistics background (sampling/weighting, forecasting, causal inference, or experimental design)
• Computer Science or engineering degree with strong quantitative foundations
• Comfortable working the second half of the day to overlap with US-based product teams
• Fluent in an English-language business environment

Desirable experience:

• Agile practices, Docker/Kubernetes, advanced Databricks/Snowflake capabilities (Structured Streaming, performance tuning, Model Serving, Feature Store)
• Orchestration tools such as Databricks Workflows, Airflow, or Dagster
• Ad tech and identity experience: demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms, data management platforms, clean rooms, identity graphs, onboarding workflows, delivery APIs
• AWS or GCP experience is a plus
