Sr. Software Licensing Analyst, SAP

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software services organization in their search for a Sr. Software Licensing Analyst, SAP. This remote position serves clients across the United States and offers the opportunity to work as a trusted advisor on SAP licensing matters. Our talent team is partnering with this employer to identify experienced professionals who can provide expert guidance on software asset management and licensing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to identify and assess SAP license or support policy concerns through remote consultation
• Provide detailed guidance regarding SAP audit processes and address client audit and compliance concerns
• Articulate licensing options and considerations to clients facing vendor compliance reviews
• Analyze and report on SAP license usage, providing asset management guidance using industry-leading software asset management solutions
• Build rapport with client-facing teams and serve as the subject matter expert on SAP license and support policy questions
• Stay current on industry and vendor activities, policy changes, and developments in the SAP licensing space
• Create supporting materials and collateral, collaborating with sales, legal, and marketing teams as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of client-facing experience in IT, software asset management, consulting, or audit
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP license audits, SAP contracts, or SAP asset management
• Deep understanding of the SAP license audit process and compliance risk mitigation techniques
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP license metrics, products, entitlements, and contract terms
• Experience using one or more software asset management tools

Education:

• University undergraduate degree in IT, accounting, business, or equivalent combination of studies and experience
• Industry certification preferred

Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders ranging from C-suite executives to system administrators
• Strong collaboration skills across departments including sales, legal, and marketing
• Adaptability and ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Capacity to learn new licensing concepts and expand expertise to additional software publishers
• Fluent English required

Pay

The employer has indicated a general salary range of $103,000 - $154,000 depending on skills and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on your location, applicable skills, and professional experience level.
