Teamcenter PLM Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization with operations in Romania. Our client is seeking a Teamcenter PLM Consultant to support their product lifecycle management infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation initiatives.

This is a permanent position based in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for the Teamcenter PLM environment, ensuring system stability and optimal performance
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to product lifecycle management processes
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
• Support configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of Teamcenter modules
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, data governance policies, and documentation requirements
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing cycles
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to key users and stakeholders
• Support cross-functional integration initiatives involving CAD, ERP, and manufacturing systems
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and digitalization within PLM workflows

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter or comparable PLM platforms
• Proven experience with configuration, workflows, data models, and basic customization
• Solid understanding of engineering and product lifecycle processes
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter modules including Structure Manager, Workflow Designer, and Change Management
• Understanding of CAD integrations (such as NX or SolidWorks) and product data structures
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident/change management tools
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (TCL, Java, BMIDE) is a strong advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
