Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations

Zelis is recruiting a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations to join our team in a fully remote role serving the US FL area. In this full-time leadership position, you'll oversee critical infrastructure systems and lead the operations team that keeps our technology running reliably at scale.

About This Position

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure leader who can drive operational excellence, mentor team members, and architect scalable solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and strategic leadership, where you'll influence how we build, manage, and optimize the infrastructure supporting our business.

Core Duties

• Lead and develop the infrastructure operations team, setting direction and fostering professional growth
• Oversee system reliability, uptime, and performance across all operational environments
• Design and implement infrastructure strategies that support business growth and scalability
• Manage cloud platforms, data centers, and hybrid infrastructure assets
• Direct incident response efforts and establish practices that minimize downtime
• Build partnerships with external vendors and manage service-level agreements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and modernization programs
• Manage operational budgets and resource allocation
• Establish monitoring, automation, and observability standards

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure operations experience
• 3+ years in infrastructure management or operations leadership
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor technical teams
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Solid understanding of networking, systems, and infrastructure fundamentals
• Experience managing operational budgets and resource planning
• Track record of improving reliability, security, and efficiency
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Commitment to building scalable, maintainable infrastructure
