About This Position

This full-time role offers the opportunity to practice as an Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner within a collaborative healthcare environment focused on treating musculoskeletal conditions. You'll be instrumental in supporting patients through recovery while delivering evidence-based orthopedic care. Combining clinical expertise with patient-centered approaches, you'll help individuals restore function and mobility in their daily lives.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose orthopedic conditions using comprehensive clinical assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing musculoskeletal disorders
• Perform procedures and clinical interventions consistent with your scope of practice
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and rehabilitation protocols
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document clinical findings and progress accurately in patient medical records
• Monitor patient outcomes and modify care plans to optimize results

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field
• Clinical nursing experience in patient care delivery
• Orthopedic nursing certification or demonstrated commitment to obtaining it
• Proficiency in orthopedic assessment and clinical decision-making
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of orthopedic conditions, evidence-based treatments, and rehabilitation approaches
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary care teams
