Junior Fullstack Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading digital commerce consultancy based in Frankfurt am Main. Our client works with prominent D2C, B2C, and B2B brands to build scalable e-commerce solutions using modern technologies. They are seeking a Junior Fullstack Developer to join their interdisciplinary team working on Shopify migrations, platform projects, and custom online shop development.

This is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days per week in the Frankfurt office. German language proficiency at C1/C2 level is required for client communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern, performant, and responsive frontends for e-commerce platforms using React and TypeScript
• Implement features and requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions
• Extend platform functionality through appropriate app integrations to improve user experience
• Work collaboratively with developers, designers, and marketing specialists on commerce projects
• Support backend tasks including database structures, data migrations, and middleware integrations
• Apply CI/CD practices, unit testing, and performance optimization techniques
• Participate in direct client communication and project delivery

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, Business Engineering, User Experience Design, or comparable field
• Practical software development experience through professional work, internships, working student positions, or personal projects
• Strong frontend focus with solid skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React-based frameworks
• Familiarity with responsive design and performance optimization principles
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and unit testing is a plus
• Experience with Shopify is beneficial but not required
• Structured, independent working style with high quality standards
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in teams and with clients
• Excellent German (C1/C2) and good English language skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on increasing responsibility
