Behavioral Health Care Manager – CA or HI license

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization that is building out its behavioral health team. We're seeking a Behavioral Health Care Manager licensed in California or Hawaii for a fully remote position, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned patient caseload, delivering targeted behavioral health support that integrates with physical healthcare
• Provide brief, evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to the clinical setting
• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders
• Facilitate patient engagement, follow-up care, and education on treatment options
• Systematically track treatment response and monitor for changes in clinical symptoms, side effects, or complications
• Support psychotropic medication management by monitoring adherence, side effects, and treatment effectiveness
• Develop trusted working relationships with partner practice teams
• Collaborate with clinicians and practice staff to identify and intake patients needing behavioral health support

What We're Looking For

• Active clinical license in California or Hawaii: LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or LMFT
• 5+ years of relevant experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology settings (preferred)
• Dedication to providing evidence-based care with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Prior experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
• Passion for delivering quality behavioral health care
• Adaptability as priorities evolve and processes are continuously improved
