About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an Audio Engineer for a fully remote contract engagement. This role offers the chance to work directly with cutting-edge AI music generation technology while leveraging your production expertise and French language proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated music across multiple dimensions including musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
- Label and categorize songs by genre, structure, instrumentation, vocals, and other musical characteristics
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material to assess quality and accuracy
- Work independently and asynchronously while meeting flexible project deadlines
- Collaborate with technical teams to enhance model performance and output quality
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in French
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
- 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
- Professional-grade headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
- Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work
- Broad familiarity with contemporary French music genres, sub-genres, and artists
Contract Details:
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Commitment: 20+ hours per week
- Location: Fully remote from France
- Start date: Immediate
