About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential corporate travel management organization seeking a Corporate Travel Consultant to join their dedicated team supporting a key client account. This is a fully remote position based in the United States.
In this role, you will coordinate domestic and complex international travel arrangements for busy executives, including air, hotel, car rental, and ground transportation. You'll begin with four weeks of paid training to enhance your knowledge of contract airfares and sharpen your GDS skills before taking on client responsibilities.
The position requires availability during business hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. A typical schedule includes five 8-hour shifts per week, with the expectation to work one or two evening shifts until 8:00 PM weekly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate air, hotel, car, and ground transportation bookings for domestic and international business travel
- Build strong relationships with business travelers to become their trusted travel partner
- Complete reservations accurately and efficiently while meeting traveler needs
- Execute all responsibilities within company standards for customer service, documentation, ticketing, and invoicing
- Stay current on airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements
- Provide consultative support and exceptional customer service throughout the booking process
- Keep clients informed about necessary travel documents and health requirements for their destinations
- Handle ticketing, exchanges, and changes involving complex international fares
- Manage rerouting and exchange processes to minimize disruption to travel plans
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of recent corporate travel management experience with understanding of business traveler needs
- In-depth familiarity with Sabre GDS for fare calculations, itinerary management, and ticket issuance
- Previous experience with quality control processes for accuracy and compliance of travel bookings
- Proficiency in ticketing procedures and scripting, with ability to handle complex itinerary changes and exchanges
- Proven ability to navigate complex itineraries, international fares, and PNRs
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple urgent tasks simultaneously
- Quick decision-making skills to resolve travel issues promptly
- Excellent communication skills to keep clients informed throughout the travel process
- Deep commitment to exceptional customer service with focus on client satisfaction
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and adapt to new technologies
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage tasks successfully
- Reliable, high-speed internet connectivity required for remote work responsibilities

Pay
Our client anticipates an hourly rate of $28.85 plus commission and incentive earnings based on achievable targets. On-target earnings average between $60,000 - $67,000 annually. Commission rates range from 2-29% based on qualified sales achieved each month.
