Bilingual (English-Spanish) Immigration Staff Attorney

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential immigration law practice seeking a bilingual Immigration Staff Attorney to join their frontline legal team. In this role, you will manage a full caseload serving clients in vulnerable legal positions, working closely with paralegals, support staff, and community partners.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of personalized legal strategies for clients based on their unique immigration circumstances
• Conducting meticulous quality control reviews of application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers
• Providing constructive feedback and guidance to paralegals and legal assistants to ensure accurate and timely document delivery
• Conducting thorough initial case reviews to identify legal issues and opportunities
• Representing clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS
• Serving as "Attorney of the Day" to provide legal guidance to the team
• Attending operational meetings and participating in consultation day events

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• An active U.S. Bar license (required)
• 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, specifically T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS matters
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish at a native or fluent level
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and immigration case management systems
• A growth-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
• Availability to work 45 to 50 hours per week
• Surgical precision in legal work and a passion for serving immigrant communities
