English Instructor (FT) Remote – WI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education services organization seeking a full-time English Instructor to work remotely. Our client specializes in college readiness preparation and takes an individualized, skills-based approach to student success. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students preparing for competitive college admissions while working with a dedicated team of educators.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States, with specific working hours Tuesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Instruct small groups of students in English core skills, focusing on long-term understanding and college readiness exam preparation
• Track student progress through a multi-phase curriculum and provide individualized growth opportunities
• Maintain and update student lesson schedules, hold students accountable for assignments, and ensure timely communication
• Develop and execute innovative lesson plans and curriculum materials
• Mentor middle and high school students with empathy and understanding of the college application process
• Model professionalism and strong organizational skills in all student interactions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a humanities field from US institutions (English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Publishing, etc.) — Master's preferred
• 1+ years of teaching experience in English and/or experience working in a college-level Writing Center
• Demonstrated academic excellence (3.5+ GPA)
• Strong verbal skills and mastery of the English language
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Ability to commit to the following schedule (CST):
  • Mondays and Fridays: Closed
  • Tuesdays to Thursdays: 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications:

• College or community college teaching experience
• Strong understanding of classroom pedagogy and ability to create customized, engaging lesson plans
• Dynamic and outgoing personality
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour for a 40-hour work week. Our client also offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, paid sick days, and fully paid winter vacations.
