AI Safety Specialist – Fully Remote | Upto $84/hr

We are representing a confidential AI research organization seeking an AI Safety Specialist for a fully remote contract engagement. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is partnering with a cutting-edge client to identify elite professionals who can evaluate and strengthen the safety of frontier AI systems.

This role is ideal for experienced professionals with deep expertise in adversarial testing, AI alignment, or trust and safety disciplines. You will work remotely from Spain, contributing directly to the robustness and responsible deployment of advanced AI models.

Responsibilities

• Design adversarial prompts to stress-test frontier AI models for vulnerabilities and unintended behaviors
• Identify jailbreaks, unsafe outputs, hallucinations, and policy failures across diverse contexts
• Evaluate model robustness in sensitive domains including misinformation, cybersecurity, biosecurity, fraud, political content, and other high-risk areas
• Document discovered vulnerabilities and contribute to formal safety benchmarking and red-teaming reports
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers to improve model alignment, robustness, and overall safety posture

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Journalism, Communications, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Public Policy, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI Safety, AI Red Teaming, Trust & Safety, cybersecurity, investigative journalism, life sciences, or a related field
• Strong analytical reasoning, prompt design, and written communication skills
• Hands-on experience designing adversarial prompts or evaluating frontier AI systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with AI Red Teaming, RLHF, SFT, AI Alignment, or Trust & Safety practices
• Familiarity with jailbreak testing, prompt engineering, or adversarial evaluation methodologies
• Domain expertise in one or more sensitive areas such as cyber, biosecurity, political content, misinformation, or scientific safety
