Working Student – People and Culture (Site operations) (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential defense technology organization seeking a working student to support their site-based HR operations for production and manufacturing teams. In this role, you will:

• Support end-to-end onboarding processes for production staff, preparing documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth integration
• Maintain and update personnel records and HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Assist with time tracking, shift scheduling, and vacation management for manufacturing personnel
• Support communication flow between the production site and headquarters HR team
• Help with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying relevant employee data
• Help ensure HR practices align with German labor law and internal policies within a production environment
• Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions, escalating complex matters appropriately
• Contribute to workplace culture initiatives that keep the on-site team connected and engaged

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor's or Master's), ideally in HR, business administration, psychology, or a related field
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week alongside studies, with flexibility for regular on-site presence in Munich
• Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential employee information
• Strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with people across different levels and functions
• Dependable and able to manage multiple recurring tasks simultaneously
• Interest in HR within an industrial or production environment, not just traditional office settings
• Prior experience in HR, recruiting, or an administrative role is highly welcome but not required
