(Senior) SEO Manager:in I SEO, GEO & AI Search I E-Commerce, hybrid, Achim

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in the renewable energy sector, and we're seeking a talented SEO professional to lead organic growth strategy. In this role, you will:

• Build and evolve a sustainable SEO strategy that identifies new growth opportunities and creates scalable topic and content structures for long-term organic performance
• Advance technical SEO architecture in collaboration with e-commerce and external IT teams, ensuring a stable and scalable technical foundation
• Develop our client's organic search strategy across SEO, technical SEO, content, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AI Search—identifying new opportunities and ensuring visibility where customers search and make purchasing decisions today and tomorrow
• Analyze Search Console and GA4 data independently, cleanly separating organic from paid traffic, identifying keyword and content cannibalization, and deriving concrete action items
• Prioritize SEO initiatives based on business impact and available resources using data-driven decision-making processes
• Create synergy between content strategy and SEO, developing optimization processes and integrating SEO requirements into content, brand, and creative workflows
• Coordinate cross-functional SEO projects with e-commerce, conversion rate optimization, and visual design teams, ensuring SEO is integrated early in relevant processes
• Track how search traffic converts throughout the entire funnel—understanding that SEO success means impact, not just visibility
• Align strategically with external publisher and affiliate partners who play an important role in market visibility

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional SEO experience, ideally in e-commerce or agency environments with strategic responsibility
• Strong expertise in technical SEO, content SEO, and data-driven optimization
• Proven experience developing and implementing sustainable SEO strategies
• Confident, independent use of Search Console and GA4—particularly for separating organic and paid traffic and identifying keyword/content cannibalization
• Experience with or strong interest in GEO and AI Search as integral components of modern search strategies
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with SEO and web analytics tools
• Experience prioritizing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of funnel and conversion logic—thinking beyond ranking positions alone
• Structured, self-directed working style with strong communication skills
• High affinity for data, processes, and continuous optimization
• Fluency in German required for this role based in Achim (near Bremen)
