About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential supply chain software organization seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their team in India. Our client is looking for a talented developer who can design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly impact operational efficiency for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using C#/.NET and microservices architecture
- Build and consume HTTP/REST APIs to support distributed systems
- Implement and manage applications using Kubernetes and helm charts
- Develop feature enhancements and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Participate actively in Agile development processes and sprint ceremonies
- Ensure high-quality code delivery through CI/CD practices and automated testing
- Work with relational databases and write optimized SQL queries
- Contribute to front-end development using HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript
- Continuously improve development methods to increase productivity and quality
- Stay current with emerging technologies and share insights with the team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in C#.NET development (5+ years required)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
- Proficiency with ASP.NET framework
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript or similar technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality commercial software on time
- Collaborative mindset with commitment to cross-functional teamwork
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable code and doing things right the first time
