About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential luxury design firm seeking a Senior Designer to join their accomplished team. This is a remote position based in the Philippines, working US Central Time hours (9 PM to 6 AM Manila Time, Monday through Friday, following US holidays).
Our client specializes in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects where exceptional craftsmanship and refined aesthetics are paramount. They are looking for an experienced design professional who can lead projects from initial concept through final installation with precision and creative excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete design process for luxury projects, driving execution from concept through completion
- Develop and present compelling design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes that meet exacting client standards
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations integrating architectural elements and interior finishes
- Curate and specify premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for cohesive design outcomes
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure clear collaboration
- Review shop drawings, oversee installations, and conduct site visits to verify design intent is executed precisely
- Collaborate with junior designers, project managers, and procurement specialists to maintain workflow efficiency
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables while proactively addressing challenges
- Manage preparation and submission of budgets and drawing sets with accurate specifications and code compliance
- Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional development
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating residential, commercial, and hospitality projects (luxury interior design strongly preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Technical proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3D rendering software (such as Enscape)
- Industry expertise: Deep knowledge of luxury materials, furniture, finishes, and current design trends
- Project management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written abilities with strong presentation capabilities
- Design sensibility: Refined eye for detail, composition, and spatial planning
- Problem-solving: Capacity to navigate design challenges and find solutions aligned with client vision
- Construction administration: Substantial CA experience including submittals, RFIs, and consultant coordination
