About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential wellness technology company seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Ukraine. Our client operates at scale, supporting millions of users through cloud-based infrastructure. As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is managing this search end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure with focus on cost efficiency and resilience
- Enhance technical monitoring and alerting systems to ensure availability and performance of critical services
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and optimize resource utilization
- Research and propose new technologies and tools to improve team efficiency
- Advance CI/CD practices and secrets management company-wide, maintaining security best practices and compliance
- Participate in on-call rotation (approximately one week per month, compensated with additional pay or time off)
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of DevOps experience with expertise managing cloud infrastructure (AWS or comparable platforms)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration technologies
- Strong skills configuring and managing monitoring systems including Prometheus and Grafana; Elastic APM experience is a significant plus
- Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and experience resolving complex infrastructure challenges
- Proactive mindset with business-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems is advantageous
Technical environment includes: AWS, Terraform/Terragrunt, RDS Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Redshift, EKS, Helm, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, OpsGenie, NodeJS, React, PHP (Symfony, Yii), Golang, and Okta SSO.
