Software Engineer Level III-ServiceNow Developer (Nigh shift)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Software Engineer Level III – ServiceNow Developer for a night shift position based in the Philippines. Our client requires an experienced developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions with a focus on catalog items, custom applications, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, maintain, and enhance catalog items within the ServiceNow platform
• Configure and support Now Assist AI capabilities including generative AI search, predictive intelligence, virtual agent, case and incident summarization, and text-to-workflow features
• Create and maintain platform architecture documentation, including AI-enabled agentic workflows
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze impact of new features
• Develop technical design documents and configure requirements according to ITIL best practices
• Create structured test plans, coordinate testing activities, document defects, and perform regression testing
• Translate technical complexities into clear terms for non-technical stakeholders
• Support ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
• Manage development efforts across ServiceNow modules using JavaScript
• Participate in agile-based work intake and delivery processes

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 5 to 8 years of professional work experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript-based design and development of ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, including Incident, Change, Service Request/Service Catalog, Knowledge, Problem, CMDB, and Service Portal
• Strong experience with server-side and client-side scripting: Business Rules, Client Script, Script Include, UI Policy, UI Actions, and UI Pages
• Experience with ServiceNow technologies including Workflow/Flow Designer, Workspace, ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, Reports, Email Notifications, SLAs, ACLs, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and GlideSystem
• Understanding of integration technologies: HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC, and ODBC
• Experience with automations and enterprise integrations using API, IntegrationHub, Orchestration, or similar technologies
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work night shift hours
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with Now Assist AI or other ServiceNow generative AI capabilities
• Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and processes
• Experience in Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, or Service Mapping
• Familiarity with A2A-based and MCP-based AI integration
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, Developer) or ITIL Foundation certification
• Knowledge of Agile Development and JIRA
• Micro-certification in AI or GenAI capabilities
