About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential software development organization seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role focuses on building exceptional user experiences through React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You'll collaborate closely with designers and product teams to create flexible, well-structured interfaces backed by robust APIs.
This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React Native
- Coordinate with development teams and designers to create applications that run seamlessly across multiple platforms
- Write reusable, efficient, and scalable JavaScript code with modular front-end components
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to enhance front-end performance and reliability
- Plan and implement data and presentation layers of application front ends
- Utilize state management libraries such as Redux to handle asynchronous API calls and optimize performance
- Build applications within specified timelines and budgets based on client requirements
- Write thorough tests to ensure application reliability and performance
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in React Native framework for mobile application development
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, including ES6+ syntax
- Experience with Redux or other state management libraries for React Native
- Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and networking in mobile applications
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working with wireframes
- Experience programming with Swift for iOS development
- Familiarity with security best practices in mobile application development
- Proficiency with source-code management systems like Git
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments while making swift, informed decisions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to balance precision and deadlines
- Must be located in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $85,000 – $110,000 per year, based on experience.
