Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare software organization seeking a Product Manager specializing in hospital billing and reimbursement. In this role, you will:

• Take a central role in developing billing solutions for inpatient and outpatient hospital services
• Develop modules and features for hospital reimbursement systems, including DRG, PEPP, and PIA billing methodologies
• Design financial accounting interfaces and data communication workflows per § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V
• Capture, structure, and evaluate functional, technical, and regulatory requirements for software solutions
• Translate complex billing processes from clinical operations, medical controlling, and patient management into clear product requirements and prioritized features
• Contribute to product strategy with focus on billing-relevant processes, regulatory developments, and digitalization of administrative hospital workflows
• Present and discuss software solutions with end users, clients, and partners during pilot projects and industry events

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates with:

• Substantial experience in inpatient and outpatient hospital billing—from clinical settings, medical controlling, patient management, consulting, or product management roles
• Deep knowledge of billing-relevant procedures including DRG, PEPP, PIA, payer communication, financial accounting interfaces, and § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V
• Understanding of clinical processes and ability to translate requirements from billing, medical controlling, and administration into digital solutions
• Strong IT affinity and enthusiasm for actively shaping hospital software and digital healthcare processes
• Conceptual working style with structured process analysis skills and ability to communicate complex topics clearly
• Confident communication with diverse stakeholders—from hospital end users to development, consulting, and sales teams
• Excellent German language skills (C1 level) required
• Located in or willing to relocate to München, with remote work options available
