Our client operates a sophisticated B2B platform serving a global customer base. Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for complex initiatives spanning multiple teams, product surfaces, and customer workflows
- Translate customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and data signals into clear experience direction
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to clarify problem spaces, sequence design work, and align teams around quality outcomes
- Create prototypes, workflows, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs that make complex product ideas tangible and testable
- Identify product experience gaps, design debt, and cross-team inconsistencies, then turn them into practical improvements
- Shape AI-enabled workflows, intelligent interfaces, and automation-heavy experiences that give customers clarity, control, and confidence
- Strengthen shared patterns, design-system adoption, accessibility standards, and implementation guidance across product areas
- Mentor senior and lead designers through critique, coaching, product judgment, and storytelling
- Collaborate effectively across US and India time zones in a fully remote environment
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of product design experience leading complex, ambiguous, high-impact initiatives across multiple teams or product areas
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating staff-level craft, product judgment, customer empathy, systems thinking, measurable impact, and shipped product quality (applications without a portfolio will not be considered)
- Experience shaping product direction beyond a single feature or team, connecting adjacent workflows into coherent customer experiences
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft with deep care for hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility, content quality, and implementation detail
- Proven experience across the design lifecycle: research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy, and usability testing
- Strong prototyping fluency using Figma, Framer, AI coding tools, or lightweight front-end code to make complex ideas tangible
- Mandatory experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis, or workflow acceleration
- Experience designing AI-powered, automation-heavy, or intelligent product experiences where customers need transparency, control, trust, and useful guidance
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product experience decisions
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills working with product managers, engineers, data partners, customer-facing teams, senior stakeholders, and other designers
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with ability to align teams through customer insight, business rationale, data, prototypes, and craft
- Collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a track record of mentoring designers, improving critique, and raising standards
- Comfort moving between product strategy, customer insight, systems thinking, prototyping, and hands-on design execution
- Ability to balance speed, detail, scalability, and quality without losing sight of the customer
