Finance/Tax Intern

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking a Finance/Tax Intern to join their team for a 10-week summer program. In this role, you'll contribute to critical tax operations that directly impact the bottom line by minimizing operating taxes and supporting net income goals.

You'll work on meaningful projects that include:

• Conducting analytical work to understand drivers of property tax valuations
• Performing deep financial analysis on pending tax legislation and its impact on both customers and business operations
• Building SQL reports and queries from cloud-based data platforms
• Supporting internal tax processes and software initiatives
• Collaborating cross-functionally to provide input on various tax-related initiatives

What We're Looking For

We're representing our client in their search for students who are:

• Currently pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting, or Finance
• Passionate about numbers and data with demonstrated experience in data analytics and visualization
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfortable presenting and speaking with senior leaders
• Experienced with SQL (preferred)
• Familiar with Power BI for data visualization
• Strong in data storytelling with the ability to synthesize insights from complex datasets
• Capable of process documentation from ideation through to deliverable
• Excellent written and verbal communicators
• Experienced in virtual, cross-functional collaboration
• Well-organized with strong prioritization skills
• Self-motivated and accountable in remote work environments
• Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future

This is a 10-week remote internship position located anywhere in the United States. Program dates are either June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027 or June 14, 2027 – August 20, 2027.

Pay

The client offers competitive hourly compensation based on academic status. Specific pay details will be discussed during the interview process.
