IT Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an IT Project Manager based in India. Our client operates globally and delivers enterprise-scale strategic initiatives across multiple business functions. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong leadership and influencing skills to manage matrixed teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional IT projects from inception through delivery
• Implement projects according to defined organizational standards aligned with industry best practices
• Define, plan, orchestrate and deliver various project types including application development, systems integration, and infrastructure deployment
• Manage the complete project lifecycle and oversee all SDLC phases in partnership with business IT teams
• Control scope to ensure commitments are met within agreed time, cost and quality parameters
• Validate financial forecasts with sponsors and reconcile resources and project expenditures
• Develop and execute communication plans for stakeholders
• Chair weekly core team and monthly operating committee meetings
• Track milestones, maintain integrated delivery plans, and report deviations
• Represent projects in governance forums and inter-department meetings
• Prepare project documentation for sponsor review

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or technology
• Minimum 3 years IT/PM experience in a multinational organization
• PMP, PRINCE 2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification desirable
• Exposure to PMBOK methodologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Highly organized with ability to remain focused under pressure
• Team player comfortable managing regional IT projects
• Experience working with Program Managers or IT Directors on diverse project types
