About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization seeking an Associate Software Application Engineer for their Costa Rica operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build foundational skills in software development and application engineering.
You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of software applications, ensuring proper integration with other systems, databases, and technology components. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications following established quality standards
- Execute unit testing to identify and resolve defects
- Participate in build, deployment, and implementation activities

What We're Looking For
Required Education:
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (required; candidates without a professional university degree will not be considered)
Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in software development
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming and application development
- Understanding of databases, software testing, and software development lifecycle
- Academic or professional experience with agile methodologies and version control tools is desirable
