We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology company seeking a working student for Sales Operations. Our client is building the intelligent energy infrastructure of tomorrow, combining regional operations with scalable software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of sales, analytics, and operations in a fast-growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales metrics across the entire funnel—from lead generation to deal closure—identifying trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities
• Develop meaningful reports, dashboards, and KPI evaluations that create transparency around sales performance and enable data-driven decision-making
• Support forecasting, pipeline management, and operational sales steering based on reliable data
• Identify automation and optimization potential while implementing efficient, scalable processes within the sales environment
• Contribute to the evolution of sales processes and reporting standards in collaboration with the sales team
• Ensure high data quality in the CRM system and help establish unified standards for data capture and maintenance
• Assist with the implementation, development, and integration of CRM, reporting, and sales tools
• Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and leadership as an analytical interface for data-driven decisions

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business, Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable program
• Initial practical experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Consulting, or a comparable analytical role—through working student positions, internships, or personal projects
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets; ideally some experience with SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
• Interest in CRM systems and data-driven sales processes with a focus on continuous optimization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare complex data clearly and derive concrete recommendations for action
• Structured, independent, and process-oriented working style with high implementation focus
• Interest in automation, AI-supported workflows, and efficient processes
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Excellent German and good English language skills
