ESE Coordinator

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential K-12 education organization seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. This virtual position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social-emotional development while working remotely anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned with students' IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles
• Provide specialized instruction with appropriate accommodations, modifications, and research-based interventions
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals
• Maintain accurate IEP documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success in the least restrictive environment
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive virtual classroom environment
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and assistive technology to support diverse learners
• Address behavioral and social-emotional needs using positive behavior supports and intervention strategies
• Work collaboratively with counselors, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other specialists
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education laws and regulations
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to special education best practices

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education, or eligibility for certification
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration, and classroom-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and families
• Ability to work in a fully virtual environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, developmental, and/or emotional needs
