Talent Acquisition Team Leader – Europe

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential renewable energy organization with significant European operations. We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Team Leader to establish and scale their recruitment function across multiple European markets from a base in Munich, Germany.

This is a strategic leadership role where you will build recruitment capabilities, lead a team of recruiters, and partner with business leaders to support ambitious growth plans in the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive European recruitment strategy aligned with business growth objectives
• Translate workforce plans into effective talent acquisition approaches across multiple European markets
• Establish scalable recruitment processes, standards, and best practices for the region
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, setting clear objectives and KPIs
• Monitor recruitment performance, market trends, and talent availability to inform strategic workforce planning
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for critical positions, particularly technical and specialist roles
• Partner with senior business leaders and HR Business Partners across Europe
• Provide data-driven insights and regular reporting to leadership on talent market conditions
• Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and critical positions in the energy sector
• Strengthen employer brand presence across European talent markets
• Develop relationships with universities, professional networks, and industry communities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally within multinational organizations
• Previous experience managing or leading a recruitment team
• Strong track record developing and implementing recruitment strategies across multiple European markets
• Demonstrated success recruiting specialist, technical, and commercial profiles
• Deep understanding of European talent markets and recruitment practices
• Data-driven approach with experience using recruitment KPIs and analytics
• Strong communication skills in English; additional European languages are advantageous
• Experience in renewable energy, clean technology, or related sectors is a plus
