Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver patient care services through a remote technology platform. In this role, you will work independently within a collaborative team environment to provide holistic, evidence-based care for patients aged 18 months and above.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and health problem management via telehealth
• Evaluating primary care, acute care, and chronically ill patients while providing healthcare education and disposition planning
• Delivering patient counseling on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, contraceptive care, and medication management
• Educating patients on health maintenance and responding to patient care inquiries
• Documenting all patient interactions within an EHR system according to established policies and procedures
• Coordinating patient care with internal and external colleagues, including physicians, pharmacists, paraprofessionals, and the broader medical home team
• Working effectively within a patient care team while maintaining the ability to practice autonomously

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree completion from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• Active, unrestricted license in at least one of these states: AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, or TX
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed
• Minimum two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Exceptional organizational abilities and multi-tasking capacity
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously without direct supervision
• Proficiency with information management and healthcare technology
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with professional colleagues
• Proficiency in additional languages (particularly Spanish) may be required depending on market

Working Environment Requirements:

• Broadband connectivity with hardwired connection preferred
• Quiet, private setting with neutral background for conducting patient visits
• Ability to maintain patient privacy per healthcare guidelines
• Capability to view and read computer screens and electronic devices for extended periods

Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, including three weekdays plus every Saturday and Sunday. Shift hours are 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Remote work from anywhere in the United States.
