Sr Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential background screening and compliance technology organization based in the United States. They operate a platform that manages the entire background check lifecycle—from candidate data collection through vendor coordination, adjudication, and compliant reporting delivery.

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working across both established Ruby on Rails applications and modern Go microservices. This role requires someone who takes ownership of features from conception through deployment in a domain where accuracy, security, and performance are critical.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features across Rails and Go codebases, including candidate portals, partner workflows, compliance tools, and internal administrative systems
• Extend and maintain integrations with applicant tracking systems and partner platforms
• Orchestrate asynchronous vendor search processes and reporting pipelines
• Incorporate AI tooling throughout your development workflow, including coding assistants, automated code review, and agentic development tools
• Contribute to AI-powered product features such as intelligent document parsing, structured data extraction, and automated screening workflows
• Own the complete lifecycle of your work: development, testing (including major user experience paths), code review, deployment, and production monitoring

What We're Looking For

• Strong production experience building B2B SaaS applications
• Solid Go development skills, or equivalent backend experience with HTTP services, background workers, and concurrency patterns
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise with sound relational data modeling instincts
• Proven track record building and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations (webhooks, OAuth, SFTP); MCP experience is a plus
• Comfort with server-rendered frontends (ERB/HTML/CSS)
• Habit of writing well-tested code
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is highly valued but not strictly required if you have strong equivalent backend experience
