About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential real estate management firm in München that is building its residential leasing team. They are looking for a working student or part-time team member to support property marketing and tenant placement across their portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you will interact directly with prospective tenants, property owners, and service providers while learning the fundamentals of real estate transactions in one of Germany's most dynamic markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate property marketing activities: schedule photography sessions, create exposés with marketing support, publish and maintain listings across platforms
• Manage prospective tenant inquiries: pre-qualify applicants, schedule viewings, conduct property tours, and follow up with interested parties—even when a single listing generates dozens of responses
• Support tenant selection: review applications for completeness, assess financial documentation, provide candidate evaluations to senior team members for final decisions
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes: prepare handover protocols, document property conditions, record meter readings, coordinate key exchanges
• Maintain data accuracy across internal systems: log every contact, appointment, and status update to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Provide operational support to senior agents: prepare appointment materials, compile property documentation, manage correspondence with tenants and vendors
• Handle back-office tasks as needed: update master data, digitize documents, maintain process documentation—workload discussed and planned weekly

What We're Looking For

• Comfort engaging with people: you can confidently lead a property viewing with multiple attendees and feel energized rather than drained by those interactions
• Developing interpersonal judgment: tenant selection requires more than financial review—you have instinct for reading people or genuine interest in building that skill
• Strong organizational skills: you can manage multiple properties, overlapping schedules, and competing deadlines without losing track of commitments
• Reliability: prospective tenants arrive on time expecting you to do the same; missed viewings damage client relationships more than any administrative error
• Proactive communication: you ask clarifying questions rather than guessing—with both customers and colleagues
• Current enrollment as a student or availability for part-time employment; academic background less important than genuine interest in real estate or business operations
• Quick learner with digital tools and cloud-based workflows
• No prior real estate experience required—training and mentorship provided from day one
