About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential cloud services organization in their search for a Sr Cloud Native Developer to join their growing team remotely from Mexico. Our client is an established AWS partner that recently secured private equity funding and is expanding their technical capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using modern serverless architectures
- Build and maintain backend systems using object-oriented programming languages
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions
- Work with cloud deployment tools and automation frameworks
- Lead technical projects and mentor team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies
- Ensure code quality through version control best practices
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages (JavaScript, NodeJS, Python)
- Native cloud development experience with understanding of cloud fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with AWS preferred (Azure and Google Cloud practitioners welcome)
- Experience with Lambda, CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline
- Backend development expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of Git or similar version control systems
- AWS Professional or Specialty level certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects
