Director of Biotech Partnerships

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing clinical research network operating 20+ sites across North America. Our client is seeking a Director of Biotech Partnerships to lead strategic collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This fully remote role requires regular travel and reports directly to executive leadership.

As the primary bridge between external innovators and clinical operations, you will drive revenue growth by establishing our client as the partner of choice for cutting-edge clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-identified biotech accounts and foster relationships with key decision-makers at assigned sponsor companies
• Identify and evaluate potential pharmaceutical and biotech partners whose pipelines align with therapeutic expertise
• Develop and execute strategic, highly organized plans with clearly defined paths to accomplish sales goals
• Act as primary clinical site liaison, nurturing long-term, senior-level relationships with sponsors
• Lead end-to-end partnership cycles from initial prospecting and capability presentations through award and ongoing partnership maintenance
• Partner with site directors and clinical leads to ensure proposed trials are operationally feasible and aligned with site resources
• Maintain market intelligence on emerging therapeutic trends, research tools, and competitive landscape to refine value propositions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline required; advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MBA) preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in site operations, business development, or alliance management within clinical research
• Deep understanding of site operations, pharma relationships, and drug development timelines
• Exceptional presentation skills with ability to translate complex site capabilities and patient access into clear business value
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact collaborations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
• Established senior-level industry partnerships preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States or Canada

This is a regular full-time position, Monday through Friday, fully remote with travel required.
