Senior Product Manager – Software Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology organization seeking a Senior Product Manager - Software Solutions in Munich. This is a high-impact role with direct accountability for software strategy, P&L, and growth. You will operate with significant autonomy, building and scaling a software business within an established company. This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and requires someone who thinks commercially, moves quickly, and is energized by building something from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for the software product line, including ARR growth, attach rate, net revenue retention, and customer adoption metrics
• Define and execute the long-term strategy and positioning of the software and service business
• Lead go-to-market strategy across sales, marketing, and customer-facing functions
• Develop pricing, packaging, and monetization models that drive repeatable revenue growth
• Act as executive sponsor for strategic customers and ensure measurable ROI realization
• Align cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) around business outcomes
• Make investment and resource allocation decisions that balance short-term performance with long-term value creation
• Establish operating rhythms, business reviews, and performance management disciplines
• Drive software penetration and expansion across the existing customer base
• Translate customer needs and industry trends into actionable business priorities

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software, cloud, SaaS, or IoT environments
• Proven track record delivering cloud-based or SaaS products
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable product solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership
• Professional fluency in English
• Commercially obsessed mindset—you think in terms of value, outcomes, and usage, not features
• Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments and navigating both technical and commercial discussions

Nice to have:

• Experience in industrial technology, IoT, hardware, or embedded systems
• Experience establishing or changing SaaS business models
• Background in enterprise or B2B software
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with product-led growth and monetization strategies
