Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Product Manager to lead their fulfillment capabilities on a 12-month freelance engagement based in Bordeaux (4 days per week on-site required).
In this role, you will:
- Own the complete roadmap and backlog for order management and dropship workflows, maintaining quarterly priorities and a strategic 6–12 month innovation pipeline
- Lead platform migration projects for enterprise accounts in the US market, delivering critical shipping infrastructure including label generation and carrier tracking codes
- Drive the delivery experience roadmap by automating workflows, improving shipment visibility, optimizing carrier rate access, and building warehouse-level delivery promise features
- Collaborate across engineering, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to gather market insights, align priorities, and successfully launch new capabilities
- Champion AI-powered product methods and tools within the broader product management community
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- 6–9 years in product management with demonstrated autonomy over roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder management
- Proven background in order management, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms
- Fluency in both French and English to work effectively with global teams
Preferred Background:
- Experience in fulfillment, logistics, or dropship operations
- B2B SaaS product experience
Key Skills:
- Ability to make difficult prioritization decisions and maintain focus on strategic objectives
- Strong product vision with a demonstrated drive to innovate
- Hands-on approach to AI implementation—actively shipping AI-powered solutions to production
- Excellent communication skills to align technical and business stakeholders
- Proficiency with Jira for sprint and backlog management
- Experience with ProductBoard or similar roadmap tools
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools
