Product Manager – Fulfillment (Freelance)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS organization in Paris that is seeking a Product Manager - Fulfillment for a 12-month freelance engagement. Our client operates in the e-commerce platform space and is expanding their fulfillment capabilities to serve enterprise marketplace operators globally.

This is an on-site role requiring presence in Paris 4 days per week. You'll join a focused product squad working on core order management and delivery infrastructure that powers complex marketplace ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end roadmap and backlog for order management and dropship capabilities, maintaining quarterly grooming cycles and a clear 6-month roadmap with 12-month innovation planning
• Lead strategic account platform migrations, delivering features including shipping label generation (paid feature) and carrier tracking infrastructure using SCAC codes
• Drive delivery experience initiatives: workflow automation, shipment visibility improvements, carrier rate optimization, and warehouse-level delivery promise features
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to gather market insights, align priorities, and execute successful feature launches
• Champion AI-powered product methods and tools within the broader product management community
• Make critical prioritization decisions across competing stakeholder needs while maintaining product vision

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 6–9 years in product management with demonstrated autonomy over roadmap ownership, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement
• Proven track record in order management, e-commerce, or marketplace platform environments
• Full professional fluency in both French and English to collaborate across international teams

Highly Valued:

• Background in fulfillment, logistics, or dropship operations
• B2B SaaS product experience

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Jira for sprint and backlog management
• Experience with ProductBoard or similar roadmap/prioritization tools
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered solutions in production environments

Core Competencies:

• Ability to make difficult prioritization calls and confidently decline lower-priority requests
• Strong product vision with genuine drive to innovate within your domain
• Excellent communication skills for aligning technical and business stakeholders
• Proactive, hands-on approach to shipping AI capabilities, not just exploring them conceptually
