We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Senior Compliance Professional. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures across the organization
• Research compliance issues involving moderately complex to complex situations requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Recommend changes that ensure compliance with contract obligations and regulatory requirements
• Maintain productive relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies
• Coordinate site visits for regulators and manage implementation of corrective action plans as needed
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
• Make independent decisions on technical approaches for project components
• Begin to influence department strategy and direction

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 or more years of technical experience in compliance
• Strong knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet service (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload)
• Dedicated workspace that protects member PHI and HIPAA information

Preferred qualifications:

• Graduate or advanced degree
• Audit or consulting experience
• Experience with compliance metrics and reporting

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based remotely in the United States. Occasional travel to client offices for training or meetings may be required.
