Home-Based Accounting Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality organization seeking a Home-Based Accounting Specialist to support their U.S.-based operations. This is a remote, full-time position based in the Philippines with working hours aligned to U.S. Central Time.

In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, invoice management, client billing, collections, and financial record maintenance. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely transaction processing.

Responsibilities

• Enter all invoices into accounting systems and prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow
• Invoice clients upon order completion and manage collection activities
• Issue past-due notices and statements on a routine basis
• Process royalty entries and submissions
• Assist with year-end financial statements and ensure accurate posting of transactions
• Maintain efficient and accurate financial records across all accounting functions
• Support additional tasks as assigned by leadership

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience: 3-5 years of general accounting experience
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA), Monday through Friday
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills for client and vendor interactions
• Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Preferred: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: PHP 35,000 - 37,500 per month
