Customer Solution Engineer – Quote to Cash

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading enterprise SaaS organization in the monetization and quote-to-cash space. Our client serves businesses navigating complex billing scenarios—from subscriptions and usage-based pricing to consumption and AI-driven product models. This is a strategic, hands-on Customer Solution Engineer role supporting enterprise sales cycles and post-sale customer success.

You will partner with sales teams to win technical decisions on large deals, design and demonstrate solutions, run proofs of concept when needed, and remain engaged with customers for adoption and expansion. This role requires both technical depth and business acumen—you'll be configuring systems, integrating data, and presenting to senior stakeholders across finance, engineering, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives throughout enterprise sales cycles: discovery, solution design, technical demos, and closing technical wins
• Scope quote-to-cash solutions including billing, CPQ, revenue recognition, and subscription or usage-based pricing models
• Build tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept aligned to customer requirements—hands-on configuration and integration work
• Present technical and business value to stakeholders including technical teams, finance leaders, and C-suite executives
• Support technical health and adoption on strategic accounts; identify and surface expansion opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Services, Support, and partners; contribute to RFPs and customer events
• Travel within your assigned territory as required

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Presales, Solution Consulting, or Solution Architecture supporting enterprise B2B SaaS deals
• Demonstrated hands-on technical capability—you can configure, integrate, build, and troubleshoot, not just present demos
• Experience in at least one of: billing/subscription platforms, quote-to-cash systems, ERP/finance applications, or revenue operations
• Strong communication skills with technical, finance, and business stakeholders

Preferred:

• Experience with usage-based or consumption billing (metering, rating, mediation)
• Background in telecom or other high-volume usage models
• Familiarity with AI or usage-heavy product monetization strategies
• Structured deal methodology experience (e.g., MEDDIC)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
