About This Opportunity
We are representing a leading cybersecurity consultancy serving both private sector and governmental clients across the DACH region. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Threat Intelligence Consultant to join their specialized intelligence practice in Munich.
In this role, you'll contribute to a broad range of threat intelligence activities—from strategic assessments to operational monitoring—helping organizations understand their threat landscape and respond effectively to real-world adversary activity. You'll work within a collaborative, international team environment, supporting incident response engagements, managed detection services, and intelligence-led security assessments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality threat intelligence across strategic, operational, and tactical use cases
- Produce threat landscapes, adversary analysis, campaign reports, and sector-specific intelligence deliverables
- Monitor open, deep, and dark web sources to identify emerging threats, exposures, and relevant risks
- Provide actionable intelligence supporting incident response engagements to contextualize attacks and inform decisions
- Support detection engineering, threat hunting, and adversary emulation activities through timely intelligence
- Contribute to intelligence-led security assessments including TIBER-EU and TLPT frameworks
- Assist with capability-building engagements such as maturity assessments and intelligence process implementation
- Participate in client-facing meetings and briefings, clearly communicating findings and insights
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and continuous improvement of deliverables
What We're Looking For
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship
- 2–5 years of professional experience, including 1–3 years in cyber threat intelligence or closely related cybersecurity roles
- Hands-on experience with strategic, operational, or tactical threat intelligence use cases
- Solid understanding of threat actors, attacker tradecraft, and intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and the intelligence lifecycle
- Experience with open-source, deep web, and dark web research and monitoring techniques
- Strong analytical and writing skills with ability to produce clear, structured intelligence deliverables
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with clients and cross-functional teams
- Current knowledge of cyber threats, attacker TTPs, and emerging trends
- German and English proficiency at C1+ level for client-facing work across DACH
- Exposure to intelligence-led assessments (TIBER-EU, TLPT) is a plus
- Availability during standard business hours with occasional flexibility for active engagements and incident response
- Willingness for limited travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (approximately 10%)
