Technical Account Manager (m/w/d) B2B MCPTT / Mobilfunk

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telecommunications client in Cologne seeking a Technical Account Manager specializing in B2B Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT) and mobile communications. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, supporting enterprise clients in deploying and maintaining critical voice communication solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical consultation and support to business customers facing challenges with crisis-resilient voice communication in MCPTT and mobile environments
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, managing customer projects from presales consultation through technical onboarding, piloting, stable deployment, and expansion
• Support sales teams during presales through technical consulting, solution design, and customer presentations
• Address technical inquiries from customers and conduct structured error analysis and sustainable problem resolution during testing and ongoing operations
• Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, product management, and technical departments
• Channel customer requirements into product and service development in a structured manner

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience with Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT) systems
• Strong knowledge of modern mobile technologies and end-to-end applications
• Good understanding of critical operations and emergency communication
• Experience consulting on complex technical telecommunications solutions in B2B environments
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Project management experience and ability to work effectively in project-oriented structures
• Very good German language skills and good English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Completed degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, telecommunications, information technology, or comparable qualification, plus several years of relevant professional experience
