As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll serve as a key point of contact for both prospective and current customers, providing exceptional support across multiple channels. You'll handle tier-1 technical troubleshooting, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure every interaction reflects a world-class customer experience. This position combines customer service excellence with the rewarding nature of helping people access tools that enhance their daily communication.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across inbound calls, outbound calls, email, and online chat platforms
  • Provide tier-1 technical support and troubleshooting for devices, applications, customer accounts, and web-based platforms
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all products, accessories, software applications, and service offerings
  • Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions using a ticketing system and CRM platform
  • Monitor and report customer inquiry trends and recurring issues to support operational improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with reimbursement, funding, product support, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure concerns are fully resolved
  • De-escalate customer service matters related to technical issues, shipping, and account management
  • Conduct proactive outreach campaigns to check on customer progress and connect them with appropriate resources
  • Educate prospective customers on products, services, and trial processes while identifying engagement opportunities
  • Support customers who have speech and language challenges with empathy and patience

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of customer service experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience providing tier-1 customer support preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, VOIP systems, and Zoom required
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Fluent proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred (bilingual differential available)
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and compassion when assisting individuals with communication impairments
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious mindset with a desire to improve processes and enhance customer experiences
  • Team-oriented approach with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 2 times per year for team meetings
  • Remote work environment requiring a safe, productive workspace with reliable internet access

Pay

This is a full-time, remote position based in the USA. Our client has indicated a salary range of $50,000 to $55,000 per year, with a $3,000 bilingual differential for qualifying Spanish-speaking candidates. Get A Job.ai's fee is paid by the hiring organization.
