Customer Success Manager – North America (m/f/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential geospatial technology company seeking a Customer Success Manager to join their North America team. This role is critical to ensuring long-term customer retention through relationship building, understanding client needs, and helping customers achieve measurable value. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, coordinating complex data operations and driving customer satisfaction across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-lasting business relationships while managing assigned customer portfolios
• Own customer orders from initial request through final delivery, coordinating multi-sensor operations across data providers and internal teams
• Develop and execute tailored customer success plans aligned with client objectives
• Lead customer engagement activities including onboarding, training sessions, status reviews, and health checks
• Partner with sales teams to identify expansion opportunities, support renewal processes, and reduce churn
• Ensure excellent end-to-end customer experience across all touchpoints
• Drive internal projects to implement customer success best practices and optimize processes

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Background in geospatial or related technical field with proficiency in GIS and remote sensing software
• Experience visualizing, inspecting, and troubleshooting geospatial data
• Working knowledge of customer success processes and methodologies
• Proven track record managing your own book of business effectively
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Technical expertise combined with problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues in time-sensitive situations
• Experience with or working understanding of APIs
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Demonstrated passion for customer success and retention
• Experience implementing customer success best practices in previous roles
• Ability to prototype simple automations including reporting pipelines, API calls, and data transformations using AI coding tools
• Additional language skills beyond English
