About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential sustainability technology client in Munich seeking a Software Engineer to join their mission-critical platform team. This role offers genuine ownership over customer-facing features that directly support industrial decarbonization efforts. You'll work within a cross-functional environment where engineers shape solutions from problem definition through production deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and continuous iteration
  • Transform ambiguous requirements and user needs into pragmatic, maintainable technical solutions
  • Challenge assumptions and contribute to product decisions about what features deliver genuine value
  • Collaborate closely with product designers and customer success teams to understand user needs and shape effective solutions
  • Contribute to codebase quality, engineering practices, and developer experience improvements
  • Make informed technical trade-offs and architectural decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software in TypeScript
  • Strong full-stack capabilities with demonstrated product thinking and understanding of systems end-to-end
  • Experience with backend development, ideally with PostgreSQL and Azure
  • Clear, precise communication skills in English
  • Self-driven problem solver with strong ownership and execution mindset
  • Ability to work hybrid from Munich
